At our meetings we welcome abstracts from all trainees, staff and associate specialists, and medical students. Please note that as a regional meeting we can only accept abstracts from those who are actively practising in our region or indeed those whose work originates from our region.
The abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentation.
The best oral presentations, poster presentations, and presentation in any form by a medical student (as first author) are awarded the prestigious North of England prize

The Prestigious George Seed Award – £1000 – See awards page for further details
Travelling Scholarship- £500 – See awards page for further details
Best Oral Presentation at the Meeting – £250
Best Poster Presentation at the Meeting – £100
Best Presentation by a Medical Student (must be first author) £50 (or a higher award if they win one of the above 2 categories.
Medical student elective bursary – £500
